Child Protection
Ricci Social Services (RSS) began to care for the weakest with a loving heart.
This is just a door to get closer to the weak. We need to continuously strengthen and deepen our own capabilities.
On the road to sustainable development, in addition to responding to the needs of our partners and ourselves, we must also continuously strengthen the awareness and attention of RSS internal employees on protecting the weak, and provide the greatest help to the adults and children we serve.
Since 2019, we have started to hold a number of internal trainings on protecting children from harm in preparation for establishing RSS's internal child protection policy.
Although affected by the epidemic, in 2021 we also conducted training on protecting the weak for volunteer groups serving in rehabilitation homes.
We hope that through the establishment and implementation of policies, RSS’s work in caring for and protecting the disadvantaged will receive a positive response.
After winter, the warm sunshine shines all over the rehabilitation center☀️, and the patients all gather together to chat🍵. An old man who was infected with leprosy and had a missing foot uses nail clippers to trim the nails of an old man with infected hands💗
Thousands of years ago, the wise man said: "You should love each other"🤗
Today, the editor sees the truth, goodness and beauty of loving each other💖💕
Let me share the last little story: Life is about being encouraged and growing from challenges and pressures
Thanks again to the volunteers and recovered persons for relying on the power of hope to face everything in life
In the month of gratitude, we will share six short stories written by volunteers serving the "Matteo Ricci Social Service" and recovered patients living in leprosy rehabilitation homes. The theme is "Matteo Ricci Social Service". "Growing up in service" - an invisible and infinite force unites their hearts.
Welcome everyone to experience the story of growing up in the big family of RSS

Build a bridge of love
"Look who they are? Keep it in our hearts and witness once again the hope of life for bind patients".
One day in September, volunteers from Matteo Ricci's social services received a contact from a hospital doctor. There was an inpatient with a special condition and wanted to apply for medical fee reduction. After contacting the patient, the volunteers required the patient to submit a referral certificate. After being able to assist in the application and learning that the patient's hospitalization deposit was borrowed, the volunteer found the Second People's Hospital from the county hospital and then contacted the municipal medical insurance and transferred the patient back to the Provincial Care Hospital. Multiple relays finally connected the patients with state aid and Matteo Ricci’s social service assistance funds.
A volunteer who has served in RSS for 18 years shared with us the story of growing up in RSS:
Gratitude is action 😊😍
